George Mason University’s School of Theater and Mason Arts Amplified present "The Originals!”, which was filmed in front of a live audience at TheaterSpace on September 15 and 16, 2023.

Tune in for an evening of original new works featuring Mason School of Theater’s talented student playwrights and students. “The Originals!” offers Mason’s creative artists the chance to share their work in a variety of forms. Whether it’s a musical or the traditional ten-minute play structure, explore the brilliant imaginations of our students as they present this year’s “Originals!” Featured shows included:

“Until Death Do Us Part” by Megan Ayers, directed by Janée Meadows 

“A Dorian Mode: A Bite-Sized Operetta” Music, Lyrics, and Book by Brett Womack, directed by Darren Badley 

“The Bricks of My Body” by Cara Hadden, directed by Lexi Carter 

“ISPY” by Anthony Flora, directed by Martin Desjardins 

“I’ll See You at the Gate” by Macy Bass, directed by Raynell Crook
