Honoring our Veterans: Selections from CAMMO Voices • 33m
Hylton at Home and Mason Arts at Home present a digital recording of the CAMMO Voices pre-performance discussion at the Hylton Performing Arts Center May 13, 2023.
Artists from CAMMO Voices engaged in a pre-performance discussion reflecting on what the ensemble means to them, including a thoughtful exchange about the importance of the arts and of community.
The participants included Donnie Isaacs, Stacey Shade-Ware (American Military Spouses Choir/AMSC), Deidra Stubbs (AMSC), Mark Fletcher (At Eaze), Reese Brown (At Eaze), Jason Hanna (Voices of Service/VOS), Christal Rheams (VOS), and Caleb Green (VOS). The discussion was led by Niyati Dhokai (Veterans and the Arts Initiative program director and research associate professor at Mason’s College of Visual and Performing Arts).
The recording will be available to watch on June 29, 2023, free of charge.
